Week 5 Homework
Brian Ulrich |
Hi Everyone--
I hope that you've had a good weekend!
Just a reminder--our first critique will be this coming Saturday. Bring ten photographs related to your project. They don't need to be photoshopped or otherwise processed--the jpgs straight from the camera are fine. Please separate the files into a folder with your name so that we can load them quickly.
A lot of you have had some uncertainty about the semester photo project--the final 20 photos that you will turn in at the end of the semester are to be part of a series, based on a common subject, theme, or concept. They can be documentary, street photo, narrative, artistic, or any other style that you choose. For this first critique, it is okay if you don't have your idea fully fleshed out, as long as you have a very general idea (style and a broad subject, i.e. a documentary approach to trees) and we'll help you sort it out over the coming weeks. If you have any questions, please email me before next class.
Since I want you to be concentrating on your projects this week, this week's assignment is to post one photo of your choice from what you will be presenting next week, along with a single word description of what your project is about.
That's it for now--see you Saturday!
