Week 7 - Ebba / Chloe

After speaking about the concept of constructed photography, we decided to collaborate on constructed works in Washington Square Park that followed the patterns of irony and contrast. In several of the images, there is a figure posed almost glamorously, in contrast to trash bin and bag sitting behind, out of focus. In several other images, the figure posed within the boundaries of a children's play space, which sparks the conversation of adolescence and the contrast of someone larger and clearly older than a small child, while still being considered a child. In one image. a child is even pictured in the foreground, which sparks the conversation and relationship of nostalgia.
