Series proposal

I took these photographs of my friend on the way to dinner in chinatown the other night. I find Chinatown very inspiring because it makes you feel like you're no longer in New York and there are always new places to find. I would also love to take portraits of my friends but I do not have access to a white background so I would like to use chinatown or other interesting parts of the city as the backdrop. Maybe adding a confusing or disorientating feel to the photographs.
