For many of his photos, Eugene Richards made sure the people he was photographing were comfortable around him. He also took photos of people very close up. This is a photo of my brother, and he was very comfortable with me photographing him, so I was able to shoot pretty close up, and I think in that way, it is similar to the types of photos Richard takes, even though it does not express as much of a story as Richards photos do.
