Hi everybody!
Thanks for a great second critique!
Don't forget that, in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday, we do not have class next Saturday.
Class will resume December 1st, which will be our final critique, so be sure to come ready.
You will also be turning in the 10 images that you want to include in the exhibition. If I do not receive them by the end of next class, you will not be in the show.
On to this week's homework:
- Post your 10 images for the 2nd critique (
evenespecially if you weren't in class) - Submit the first draft of your artist statement this weekend. I have posted some resources to the blog (found by clicking the How-To tab along the top) that will help get you started. Keep in mind this is a first draft and isn;t expected to be perfect or anywhere near resolved.
- Create a mini-documentary or photo essay about someone in your household and post it to the blog. It should be a minimum of 5 images, maximum of 10. Keep in mind that you are trying to tell the story of a person's life as clearly as you can without using words.
That's all for now. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!
