Week 2, Day 3 Wrap-Up

Hi Everybody.

Today we visited the Aperture Foundation to see On Freedom and learn about their Work/Study program. We also had an open lab session in preparation for our final exhibition.

Tonight, please get any last minute photos and video clips that you may need to wrap up your projects.

Before the end of the evening, email me the first draft of your artist statement (1 paragraph about your photo series and 1 paragraph about your video). I've posted additional resources on the blog if you need some help.

By then end of the day tomorrow you will need to turn in the following:

• 10 photos from your series to be printed (preferably as flattened .tifs)
• Both portrait assignments
• our favorite (non-series) photo from this Summer
• Exported video project

Please note that I will be printing immediately following the end of class. If I do not have your files, you will not be included in the show.

For the final, you will need to turn in a USB drive or DVD with the following, divided into folders:

• Your full photo series (20 photos minimum)
• Exported video project
• Both portrait assignments
• All homework

Please turn in these files as unflattened .tifs with any layers intact. In order to receive credit for the class, I need to have your USB drive/DVD in hand by the end of day tomorrow/start of class Friday.
