My name is Victoria and I am from China. I have great interests in moving images, particularly the experimental cinema and the arthouse films (Buñuel, Jarman, Suzuki, Wojnarowicz, etc.), and this is also what triggered me to start taking photos. After watching La Jetée, a film made of slides of still images that convey a complete story about time, space, and memory -- which are the core concepts of images -- I started shooting with a 50-dollar Holga, then with a Pentax, which is still my go-to camera. I am more of an intuitive person rather than technical.
