Grand Central is Peaceful

Grand Central is known for its massive interior and its tendency to always be busy. The first thing i thought about when doing this project is attempting to show the unseen side of Grand Central. It is amazing to think there can be such a huge contest between noise and silence separated by a few walls. In these photos i really wanted to capture what was actually going on in the trains, and the peacefulness that people simply walking through Grand Central do not get to see. I also wanted to capture small moments of little scenes in the train such as the woman in the window, or the brightly lit empty train car.
